Streaming Problem - VLC uses SECAM instead of PAL

Postby jsp » 19 Oct 2005 16:04

Hi,
we are using vlc (operating system Windows 2000) to stream vidoo using a Hauppauge PVR-350.
This works very well, but after each reboot of the computer the videonorm switches back to secam (which results in having a black and white image).
Hauppauge can't tell me if or where to fix this within the videodriver, and I can't find a command-line parameter (for the windows verson of VLC) to override this parameter.
Can anybody help?

The same problem. Tv-tuner LifeView Prime34 TV. Cable TV has channels with different TV standards. SECAM channels are color and PAL channels are black and white. Another streaming utility with this problem is UnrealLiveServer. WindowsMediaEncoder and Real Producer recognize channel standard correctly.
