Playing Youtube Video in VLC Media Player

My OS is Windows 10 Pro 1511, and VLC Media Player is 2.2.2.

I can usually play youtube videos in VLC this way...
Media -> Open Network Stream -> paste URL -> Play

For example, this one plays okay in VLC...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/3nBGUT6ZBFw

Yet, some others, playable in a browser, would get stuck in VLC, for example this one...

Would that be a universal issue, or just one happening my side?

I tried replacing youtube.luac with youtube.lua from here...
https://git.videolan.org/?p=vlc/vlc-2.2 ... ua;hb=HEAD
But the attempt did not solve the issue.

What could be the problem? Any advice would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!

I suspect this has to do with YouTube and copyright issue. YouTube allows you to download certain files. But not others. Because you can make copies with VLC record, YouTube may be restricting download if content is copy restricted. YouTube content providers choose whether to allow download copies.
