VLCwin32 or VLCwin64

Postby gohanrage » 24 Feb 2016 04:56

I really don't know much about 64bit software vs 32bit software. as far as windows goes I know 32bit windows was limited to 3GB of Memory and if you upgraded your OS to 64bit you could add more ram.

I downloaded 64bit versions of other software and dont notice a difference. I have a 64bit version of chrome and iTunes.

for a while 32bit software was more stable is there any difference between VLCwin32 and VLCwin64. i downloaded the 64bit install file on my new laptop but haven't installed it. thought I would post question on the forums before insalling
Windows 10 64bit Home
Intel Core i7 6700HQ
Dell Inspiron 7559
8GB DDR3 1600mhz
GeForce GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5
