Corrupted Video Tracks

Hello. I'm having a unique issue here. It seems to have only surfaced after the last two releases of VLC. Version 2.2.1 and the version right before that. Anyway, if I try to play certain movies in a play list the first movie comes out looking crisp and clean and the rest of them come out looking like VLC is trying to access some sort of hidden 3-D video Track. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this even a problem that has a solution? I would hate to have to go back to an older version of VLC because of a glitch in the program. It seems to actually be limited to mp4 files. A few of my movies are in MP4 and the rest of my shows are in AVI. I just don't get it. Perhaps there is a solution, perhaps this will be fixed in the next release of VLC. All I know is that a response of some kind, even if it's just "We're working on it for the next release," would be greatly appreciated. For now, I guess I will just have to deal with it. Turning the video track off and then turning it back on does fix it, but that's a pain in the neck.

Thanks.

Thank you, mederi. Let us hope that this will resolve my issue and that there is nothing actually wrong with the files or my hard drive. ;)
