Snapshot naming produces error?

Hi, I am trying to create a string for my snapshots that contains the filename (I have just settled for the full path) and the time code. I format it like so

Code: Select all

vlc-$F-$T

and I keep getting the word error and a number code at the end of it. I used the documentation at this page to get my syntax. Does anybody know of what is causing this? Also is there a way to get just the filename without the path? Thanks
