VLC media player won't play videos from youtube

I was on the Teamspeak forums and someone said I could use VLC media to play a video from youtube and play the sound through a line and have a bot pick up the sound on teamspeak and play it on the server. I tried playing a video and it gave me this error
I have a hunch that is is a really easy fix and I am just over-looking something. Thank you in advance.
