Can VLC play Windows Media Audio 9.1?

VLC is unable to play this stream http://65.110.52.100/ftr
Acording to 'properties' found by right clicking on the page is was embedded in it is encoded with Windows Media Audio 9.1 (64 kbps, 44kHz, stereo 1-pass CBR)

Does VLC support Windows Media Audio 9.1? Or is there some other reason the file won't play?
