Hello,
I use VLC for my IPTV and have the files in m3u.
I have a problem while watching the programs as the channels move (change) without doing anything.
Example: my first 5 programs are :
SportITalia
Skysport1HD
Skysport2HD
SupercalcioHD
FoxSportsHD
I watch skysport1 HD and after 30-45s it moves to the next program (skysport2HD) - and so on and on.
Somethimes it works OK but 70% of the time I have those problems.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled VLC for a few times but I do not know what to do next!
thanks for the help

VLC switches to the next item when the connection fails. We can't fix connectivity issues for you.
You could enable playlist repeat to work around the problem.

A faew hours ago I used the button to "toggle between loop all, loop one or no loop" and it seems to be the solution - as soon the connection was lost the channel reconnected as the name on the channel appeared again as when you click on the channel...
I do not know how to use playlist repeat because I have lots of programs in the playlist and i suppose it would repeat all the programs?
thank you

I still do not get it - i use VLC on my HTC android phone and it has no connection problems and it streams every channel without problems...
on VLC for PC it moves from channel to channel because of the connection problems... I must use the loop button so it recconnects but it is disturbing...
VLC is probably one of the best programs around but has this kind of problems?!

I realize this post s old but it came up for me in a web search, so I figure someone may also come along and see the info. I have not successfully run IPTV on VLC myself yet. But, in watching vidoes last weekend I saw the solution to this problem. What needs too be done is to be sure you HAVE the LOOP button enabled on your toolbar.. Then click the button twice to make it loop the channel you are watching . Apparently the reason you get only 30 seconds then channel change is these are "test" channels, so they are meant to play only 30 seconds to test. By setting the loop function, every 30 seconds it will reload same channel.
I hope this helps someone else coming along. Personally I hope I can set up IPTV AT ALL. (I have satellite internet which is very slow, so i suspect this may be MY problem) Good Luck
