Need Play-Stop etc controls to be really big

Hi,
I have a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8.1 and I want to use VLC to play backing tracks.
Each song will start with Play and stop when it ends then start again on Play like a CD player.
Things is I want to Play, Stop etc control to be really big so I can see them clearly on the screen on stage.
There is no video, only stereo audio so the only thing I need to see are the controls and the next song coming up.
Any ideas please. I really don't want to go back to Winamp.
