So I *love* the desktop client, but I love the integration with the Windows 10 app Store, so I decided to try the VLC from the Windows app Store. however I basically can't get it to play videos correctly at all.

When I double click on a video (mp4/mkv) VLC opens and then ISNTANTLY crashes. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and the behavior is always the same. I even have a clean copy of Windows 10 installed. If I open the app and select a video to play directly from within the application it plays, but then the app crashes randomly.

Is it me or is the App Store version just really bad? Is there something I can do to fix it?

it should be solved with the next update.(Very soon!)
Would be great if wait for it and tell us, if you're still able to reproduce the crashes.

Good deal!. Since Win 10 updates are mostly silent can you let me know via this thread when it's updated please?
