In my VLC 2.2.1 is the visual effect goom not working proberly. The colors are ugly white blue, green and white and the animation is not smooth. Anyone tips?

I switched back to a previous version. (Which I know is not a solution. I'm just leaving a comment so I'll know if someone else posts a better answer.)
