How to make VLC take the focus?

HI,
I'm using the latest version 2.2.1 on Windows 10 and I'm fine with everything except a minor option that I'm missing to find for some reason in the settings (if it's there).
I'd like to make VLC get the focus whenever I click a video file in Explorer. What's actually happening now is that when I click a video file within explore and VLC is minimized, it plays the video but in its minimized state unless I bring it to the front manually with mouse which is kinda boring for me. Is there anyway to make the program get the focus whenever I click a file within Windows Explorer?
Thanks
