I haven't used my desktop in a while. I thought I would play some videos and my favorite media player is VLC but no matter the video I get no audio. I recent preferences but I didn't change anything still no sound. I also tried reinstalling the player also didn't work. if I don't right click and say play with VLC and just double click the video it opens up in WMP and has sound as normal

I can't figure it it out. when I chose open file instead of using the right click open with I had audio. then I tried the open with way and still had audio. I think I closed and reopened the program not sure if that is what fixed the audio.
