Auto skip titles/chapters.

Postby Kaliac » 15 Jun 2015 10:52

Heya.

Watching a long running series, all episodes are .mkv files with defined chapters for the intro, recap, eyecatch and ending. Theyre all named the same for each episode but the length varies.
Anyway to set VLC to automatically skip chapters based on name? (or #)?

You convert the edition to ordered chapters, depending on VLCs functionality you might get away with just disabling the unwanted chapters, other than that just leave them out.

I haven't tested VLCs handling of the default edition flags recently... maybe a second edition will work.

No, but should be easy to do, as a lua extension.
