VLM Configurator Import Function
Posted: 03 May 2015 03:57
Under Tools|Configuration it is possible to export several broadcast Presets and these are saved to a .vlm file as follows:-
-------------------------------------------------
# VLC media player VLM command batch
# http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
new Al Jazeera broadcast enabled
setup Al Jazeera input "rtp://@233.29.121.2:1234"
setup Al Jazeera output #transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=800,acodec=mpga,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:http{dst=:8080/go1.mpg}
new Chinese TV2 broadcast enabled
setup Chinese TV2 input "rtp://@233.29.121.19:1234"
setup Chinese TV2 output #transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=800,acodec=mpga,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:http{dst=:8080/go2.mpg}
new Movie Classics broadcast enabled
setup Movie Classics input "rtp://@233.29.121.39:1234"
setup Movie Classics output #transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=800,acodec=mpga,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:http{dst=:8080/go3.mpg}
-------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately the import function does not seem to operate reliably, so most of the time is unusable.
I am using Win7 with an Intel 2.6 Quad processor and Gigabyte Raid.
