Post Processing 1-4 Working, 5-6 Crash

Postby fritolays » 05 Apr 2015 05:37

Using VLC 2.2.0 x64 on Windows 8.1

So as the title says I can set post processing to any level except 5 & 6 which results in a crash.

Code: Select all

Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: vlc.exe Application Version: 2.2.0.0 Application Timestamp: 00000000 Fault Module Name: libpostproc_plugin.dll Fault Module Version: 2.2.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: a030a018 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00000000000030ea OS Version: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.4 Locale ID: 4105 Additional Information 1: c993 Additional Information 2: c993fd0406d7e22ca983208815bacea7 Additional Information 3: ef3d Additional Information 4: ef3dc496a6a3c6746c2a543eb0620a36
From the mouse over info; seems it applies different filters for each level: 1 hb, 2-4 hb+vb, 5-6 hb+vb+dr.
So the dr (dynamic range ?) filter is causing the issue I imagine.

Just curious if anyone has another idea...

Thanks kindly,
fritolays
