VLC 2.2.0 Capture Card Error

With the release of the new VLC, I tried to stream my capture card.
Using the default settings, the VLC 2.1.5 version works fine.

However, the VLC 2.2.0 produces these messages:

core warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
core warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
core warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
core warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
core warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
core warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
core debug: Buffering 0%
core debug: Buffering 5%
core debug: Buffering 18%
core warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
core warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
core debug: Buffering 0%
core warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
core warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
core debug: Buffering 0%
core debug: Buffering 5%
core warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
core warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
core debug: Buffering 0%
core warning: clock gap, unexpected stream discontinuity
core warning: feeding synchro with a new reference point trying to recover from clock gap
core debug: Buffering 0%
core debug: Buffering 20%
core debug: Buffering 26%

And it continuously sends these messages. VLC will show the first image (it decodes the first packet) and freezes. Continuously replaying the capture card shows different images, but they all freeze. I know there were some changes in the core with the 2.2.0 update, what can I do in the system preferences to get me the same settings as teh 2.1.5 version.

Edit: It seems like I'm having the same issues as this person:

Same problem but with Oupree HD400 card (http://www.oupree.com/OPR-HD400-Quad-10 ... -Card.html).

Reverting back to 2.1.5 until this is fixed.
