SNAPSHOT Prefix variable not working!

Hello. Varialbes are not working for SNAPSHOTS. It shows the variable in raw text , i have tried to use many combinations they all just show the variable e.g. $t $T etc etc

I have tried x32, x64 , latest VLC, and 3.0 beta.. All SAME problems. I am Windows 8. Plz fix, thanks

Hello.
Even the latest version doesnt work. the 3,0.
No matter what variable I use, it shows as it was written (like in photoi attached)
edit : i will try a NGHTLY and see what happens

Hi , i tried latest nightly version: after PC restart, and saving settings, closing vlc, then reopening, the problem remain.... here is image

What difference this time ? It don't show the $t , just empty
