Hello everybody.
I just noticed problem with WAV playing of VLC 2.1.5 (final version, 32 bit). I have original CD audio album with several tracks included that contain one song which VLC always skip to play. I tried ripping to WAV and noticed the following:
CD and output PCM WAV format from any one converter/cdripper can not be played from VLC too. Foobar2000 is playing and working with CD and WAV without any problem.
Output FLAC from any one converter/cdripper can be played from VLC. ---> BUT!!!!! If we return convert back from FLAC to WAV the problem is back.
:!: Here is the source of WAV
Can somebody explore and tell me where is the problem and how can be fixed?

I can confirm this file still doesn't play on VLC 2.2 for Windows.

Code: Select all

es debug: detected format dts core debug: using packetizer module "dts"
But it's PCM, not DTS.

And btw, it works fine on my Linux machine on 2.2.0.

Can you try a 3.0.0 nightly build.
