VLC 2.1.5 Crashes on Termination
Posted: 18 Aug 2014 06:29
Windows 7 (x64)
VideoLAN 2.1.5 (x64)
VLC seems to work okay. When I go to terminate it after it has been playing a streaming audio broadcast, however, it crashes.
The Windows error popup says:
VLC media player 2.1.5 has stopped working
Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.
Just below that, there are buttons for two options:
Check online for a solution and close the program
Close the program.
The "Problem signature" in that error popup is as follows:
Problem signature:

The stream to which I was listening was at http://kuscstream.org/mp3/kusc128.m3u. I can reproduce this problem at will. I can get the crash whether I terminate VLC by selecting the X in the upper-right corner or by selecting [Media > Quit] on the VLC menu bar.
