Second monitor Full screen display issue

Postby prossiter » 13 Aug 2014 23:38

Hi, can anyone help please, i have exhausted the forums and myself over this!.

I use VLC to display videos and DVD’s via a projector. VLC is fantastic, but i cannot get the video image to sit centrally on the second screen when opening up the video in full screen mode automatically (it sits partly to the right).

I have set to Direct X Draw and Screen 2 etc.

I am using VLC 2.1.5 and Windows 8.

I had this issue too. I had Nvidia control panel to fix this as it wasn't properly resoluting the second screen as it would turn out. I don't know if your using Nvidia driver though so yeah. But it was the same issue for me with a second screen hooked up.

Hi, thanks for your post. I'm using Intel Graphics unfortunately, not NVidia. See what you mean though, could be a video driver issue. Do you or anyone else have and good ideas how to fix.

Thanks.

Phil.

Unfortunately my suggestion to go into the settings and make sure the 2nd screens resolution was proper is all I can suggest. I am currently having my own full screen issue I brought up in another thread though no one is responding to it period >_>
