VLC and LargeMTU setting on Synology

Hello,
Unfortunately, I must report that the solution I wrote about Jumbo Frames and LargeMTU setting did not work out as expected. VLC still has problems with a playback from the NAS directly.
Previous thread, which should be changed/deleted: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=119892
Does anyone from VLC have any ideas why there is this problem? In short:
- Synology NAS, enabling SMB2 + LargeMTU (and also setting DisableLargeMTU=0 in Windows registry) prevents VLC from playing back files directly from the NAS over the CIFS share (VLC report a MRL error and doesn't play back)
Thank you.
