Fast forward produces colored blocks

Postby charles75 » 01 Jun 2014 17:58

Hi,

I'm using VLC player 2.1.3 on windows 8.1.

The problem is when playing .wmv files and I fast forward the picture breaks up and I get colored squares for about 30 seconds and then the

display returns to normal.

So I've had to install an older version of the player and the problem is gone.

Does anybody have a solution to this problem?

It is absolutely unbelievable that instead of the player getting better it seems to be getting worse with each release.

Thanks for any help.

bit of an issue with 2.1.3. if you don't mind you can ignore it. if you do [which you obviously do :P ] you can downgrade to i think 2.1.2 or earlier
