Hi. Sometimes my vlc player does want to open a file until I have finished its process from the task manager. Sometimes I open a file and nothing happens, then I go to the task manager, find the vlc.exe process and I finally terminated it, just by doing that the problem is solved. Why is this happening ? I am using latest versions and a very good computer with windows 7 64b.

CloudStalker has noticed a similar issue which is sometimes accompanied by a C++ error message. Have you seen such a message? Does this occur only after stopping and playing several videos? What happens when you restart your computer and then play a video?
