could you tell me how to enable Vlc context menu 0.8 by Helga Tauscher in Windows XP, Mozilla

Downloaded, installed, enabled and right clicking the link does nothing

About this Add-on
You can quickly add URLs of media (audio and video) files (e.g. mp3 files) to the VLC playlist from your browser by right clicking the link and choosing the context menu entry. VideoLAN Mediaplayer handles the download of the stream. The player has to be installed before.

in off-line mode , VLC is to open audio files from a local disk

ok, Vlc context menu started to work
for wav files in the following directory
file:///c:/WINDOWS/Media/
