Sound Not Heard for .vlc and .3pg files

i have a file with Extension .3pg and other with .vlc (both are vide files)

.3pg file plays correctly along with sound in Quicktime, but when it is played in VLC, sound is not heard.

.vlc file doesnt play in Quick time, and is played in VLC, but the sound is not heard.

i am in urgent need of this
... plzzzzzzz some one help me out..

If you take a look at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html you will see that amr audio isn't supported.

How ever, here SuSE 9.2 it work, if libffmpeg is compiled with amr support. You will need a binary that come with amr support.

I have a 3pg file.
3pg seems to be supported in vlc:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html

However I only see the video but no audio sound.

AMR audio isn't supported in VLC. That is why many .3pg files don't play audio in VLC.
