thanks with the view - message I have seen that it can't connect - it's certainly because of the proxy. anyone know how to configure proxy ?

In fact it work in wmplayer because I can set the proxy for all protocol, especially mms in my case.
In VLC I only found how to set proxy for http. I want to use an http proxy for a mms diffusion. is it possible ?
Thanks in advance

try using mmsh instead of mms in the link ... it'll force http usage.

I think VLC don't handle this protcol ?
arg it's a pity that VLS can't use ms through proxy. is there a todo list where I can suggest this for future development ?

if you're looking for the SOCKS proxy, you can set it up in the prefs.

SOCKS proxy configuration in VLC is available here (in the prefs) :
-> Input / Codecs
---> Advanced
(you need to check "advanced options" in order to see the SOCKS configuration options)
