Hiding VLC icon that is displayed before video plays

Postby bobegilbert » 11 Jan 2014 17:54

Hi VLC Community,

Is it possible to hide the VLC icon that is displayed before each video plays? I have a video (Camtasia screen recording) that I need to launch on stage in front of a large audience and I don't want anyone to know that it is a video. I have the VLC player setup to automatically go to full screen and the video also ends on the last frame, which is great. The only problem is that the orange and white VLC pylon icon shows briefly in the middle of the screen before the video plays.

Is there a setting that will disable this?

I am using VLC 2.05 on Windows 7.

Thanks,

Bob
