VLC 2.1.1 Command Line Interface

Postby akagambit » 24 Nov 2013 04:24

After upgrading to 2.1.1 I now have this annoying "Command Line Interface" showing up with VLC and I have been searching google, the forums, the wiki and the program preferences and have found no way to disable or hide the CLI, how do I do this without having to resort to uninstalling and installing 2.1.0 ? (I can't even close VLC normally now, I have to close the CLI itself.)

Do you use the Lua? I had the same problem and just randomly tried various things.
If you disable Lua (Tools -> Preferences -> (Settings: show all) -> Interface -> Main Interface -> untick "Lua interpreter" and restart, that hopefully works.

Cheers,
JL

I do not, but I tried enabling it then restarting then disabling it and restarting and that fixed it.

Thanks a Million, I appreciate the help.
