Tried and Failed

Postby ohmoxide » 14 Nov 2013 06:25

I am getting:
"This Blu-ray Disc needs a library for AACS decoding, and your system does not have it."

I have installed:

KEYDB.cfg

at this location:

This PC --> Local Disk (C:) --> Users --> Ohm --> AppData --> Roaming --> aacs

And I have installed:

libaacs.dll

at this location:

This PC --> Local Disk (C:) --> Program Files (x86) --> VideoLAN --> VLC

So, now what do I do?

Hi Rob,

what version of VLC have you, 32 or 64 bit?

The place for the libaacs.dll is right, if you use the version for 32-bit.

The place for the KEYDB.cfg is right.

Is the KEYDB.cfg current?

With files from here, the playing from BD works on my pc very well.
