FluidSynth removed in 2.1?

I can't find FluidSynth under the audio codec options in settings. If it had been intentionally removed I would have assumed it would have been noted in the change log. Can anyone confirm why it's been removed, if this was something overlooked in building the latest version for Windows, or do I now need to install some extra package for it (like GNU/Linux have had to for ages)? Personally I found it rather nice being able to use VLC for previewing midi tracks along with all other audio files I may use.

Sorry about that somehow missed the two newer posts when I was looking. For anyone else asking the answer as to why it's missing is on the bug tracker https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/9486
