VLC 2.1 either does not play Blu Ray or crashes

Postby depaolz » 19 Oct 2013 00:36

Hi,

Problem started with VLC not playing Blu Ray, because it did not have an aacs library. 7 attempts later and several re-installs, I am now on the 32-bit VLC 2.1.0, libaacs.dll for 32-bit, keydb.cfg all in the right places. VLC no longer gives me grief about the aacs library, it just "stops working" due to "a problem".

I am at the end of my tether here. Is there some mega obvious thing I'm missing?

Thank you.

Tried all that, several times. Finally tried a nightly build, now I can see the title screen, but no hint that VLC will actually play the movie. What fresh hell is this?
