Lenovo mute button doesnt work correctly with vlc 2.1 64bit

Hi,
i use windows 7 pro x64 with vlc 2.1 x64. When i used the 32 bit version of older versions. Everything worked fine. After installation of 2.1 x64 i have a strange event when starting vlc 2.1.0 and my speakers are muted.
I hope i can explain my issue. If i start vlc and my speakers of my Lenovo Notebook are muted. vlc starts normally. After pressing the mute button to unmute the speakers i hear for a short moment the music and then vlc is muted. When i start vlc without muted speakers everything works fine. I guess this looks like a bug but i could find a corresponding bug at the vlc-trac or the forum so i posted my problem here.
Can someone help me?
