A/52 over SP/DIF not working in 2.1.0

Postby Younkedidely » 28 Sep 2013 03:15

I have my settings exactly the same as the previous version and I cannot get A/52 over SP/DIF working. Is this a bug? I down graded back to 2.0.8 and it works.

Looking how your audio driver exhibits two devices, I would guess you need to select the Digital Output device for S/PDIF to work.

Nope it seems to be broken for me, it wont pass through the DTS it decodes it to stereo.

I tried both devices listed as well, and it still outputs it as 2 channels. Version 2.0.8 works fine.

Same problem here. 2.0.8 works just fine "out of the box", with 2.1.0 outputs only stereo. Windows 7 64bit in use.

Same problem here. Also using Windows 7 64 bit. VLC 2.0.8 doesn't have this bug!
