I can not install VLC and the troubleshooting guide tells me the message below. The problem is when I right click on the VLC icon the option to run in administrator mode does not come up. I'm using Windows 7. Any ideas? Thanks.

This means that you have to run the VLC installer in administrator mode.
Right click on the VLC icon and select Run as administrator.

It's the installer (e.g. vlc-2.0.8-win32.exe) that you must run in administrator mode.

Hi, can anyone help ? I have right click to run as administrator but this error 1814 still pops up, what else to do please?
