VLC Interface questions

I like VLC heck its faster and more stable than anyhtign out thier but I ahte the inerface >< I want the scoll button to do volume and click on screen to pause,would be nice if it could use the media keys on the keybaord but I have a feeling you can change most of this within the options there are just so many I get lsot 0-o

yes :)

[Settings] -> [Preferences] -> [Interface] -> [Hotkey settings]

pause/play:
pause only:
play only:

volume up:
volume down:

go to the respective choices and dropdown each box till you find mousescroll this or that, etc.. ;)

click save when you are done.

its one hell a player with a very open interface can be hard for newbies to understand it *L* that or my brain is out to lunch again *L*
