V2.0.7 playlist length limit?

Postby RBEmerson » 23 Jul 2013 04:11

For some reason, when I try to load more than about a half dozen CD tracks (ripped to MP3), at once, to VLC media player, Win7 removes VLC from the list of hte two places to build a play list (WMP being the other choice) and only gives me WMP (yech). If I try 1-5 files in one shot, then VLC media player is the first option (as it should be), followed by WMP. AFAIK, any file type / extension that might be of interest to VLC is selected in the options. It's only when I try to load a complete CD's worth of MP3's or more that my only choice is WMP. I'm positive earlier revs didn't have this problem. What am I missing here?
