Well, normally VLC plays MKV videos just fine, but with the one I'm trying to watch right now, it keeps skipping.
By skipping I mean, I watch episode 1 just fine, and episode 2.... then during the intro of episode 3, it skips the track to episode 4... and at the start of episode 4 it skips to track 5.
I've also tried MPC and it does the same thing. Is there any way to fix this?

If every player behaves the same then there must be something wrong with episode 4 track.

You can try to disable the ordered chapters to avoid auto skip and play the file continuously
