is there anyway to restrict someone from accessing vlc streams over the internet

i would like to see a feature that lets you restirct ip address to a vlc stream over the internet

How do you stream ?

its ok i have found it working well when was this added

what about IP address locked? and a username and password for each users

TOo complex for now.
