VLC player still cutting last second off

Postby fredphoesh » 08 May 2013 11:13

Hello guys

This issue has been around for years, mostly does not bother me as I use VLC mostly for watching movies... but I also use it for work, and my clients do... and VERY frequently I have to add a 2 second freeze frame at the end because they complain the last second or more is cut off. This happens on all my PC's and is most noticeable when playing back interview footage which ends immediately after the last word. The last word will be missing or badly cut off. The same problem does NOT exist with windows media player, so the files themselves are 100% definitely OK. This problem exists only when playing back with VLC player.

Is there a setting which sorts this out. If not, please look into it, it's a bug. See the footage here, the words "at home" are cut off:

Thanks guys,

Mark.
