VLC controls in full screen are gone
When I play full HD videos in fullscreen the controls are gone, the vlc bar (or how is it called) in bottom of the screen isn't showing and when I right click the menu doesn't show up, it does in window mode. Is there any way I can fix this?

I am having the same issue but only with certain videos encoded by the same person. Every other video works fine.
