Saving Audio to MP3?

Postby KenO » 07 Mar 2013 19:35

Have tried a few times to save audio from CD, and DVD to MP3 using Save/Export but the audio files will not play on my MP3 player.

Tried these audio files on some friends MP3 players and none will play them.

Did a forum search using MP3 and found viewtopic.php?f=7&t=108553&p=367692&hil ... ut#p367692

Agree with ParaNoya "I have been totally confused too often by the vlc interface for just grabbing the sound but..I open the flv files with a certain free and excellent open source sound editing program and then export the track as a wav, or mp3 or whatever I usually open flv files in that program anyway....if I am looking to make a music file from it"

Appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks

Ken
