Hey,
I'm running version 2.0.5 Twoflower, and Windows 7 64-bit.
For as long as I can remember, there has been this bug in VLC that occasionally makes the Windows Taskbar go on top of VLC when switching to fullscreen.
Like this:
What I did just now was:
I double-clicked the video file so that VLC opened on top of all my windows, like normal.
Then I double-clicked inside VLC to make it fullscreen.
It went into fullscreen, but the taskbar is now on top of everything.
I don't know if this is caused by VLC or Windows.
If I want to fix it I can for instance exit and re-enter fullscreen or press the Windows key twice.
After this has happened it will not happen again for a long time even if i close VLC every time I switch movie file.
It has definitely gotten better, it used to happen several times a day, SOME days, and some days it never happened.
Now it seems like the PC becomes immune to it for a day or something if it does happen, lol.
But it's definitely more rare that it EVER happens now.
Also, right now I have Aion running in the background but that is not the cause, this happens even if VLC is the only running program.
I've google'd this a few times a year for like 2 years now but no-one ever seems to find a permanent fix.
There are definitely a lot of people writing about this, I myself have even made another post about it here on this very forum 1 year ago.
I do think that this needs to be reported from a lot of people though, that's why I'm posting about it again.
