I have Windows 7 and I'm running VLC 2.0.5. When I have VLC player open I try to rename, or give a new title, to my videos. Everything is fine until I close VLC player and reopen it. Then the titles have gone back to what they were originally. Any ideas to the fix? Thanks.

The title is inside the metadata of your file and VLC won't change it. If you want to do that you have to remux your file with the new title.
