Crossfade Vid1 ending with Vid2 start? or ctl end2start time

Given Enqueue'd videos in a playlist
Is there anyway to shorten the time interval between videos so the next video starts quicker ?
Is there anyway to do a cross-fade between videos so as one is ending the next one is starting? (and adjust the cross-fade time)
