Adding Audio Tracks

Hi. Is it possible to add an audio track to a movie, just like you do for the subtitles tracks? eg.: if I have the german mp3 track of a movie, to add it to the list of the audio tracks as "Track 2" and switch between the audio tracks.
Thanks :D

Go to:
Media >> Open (advanced)...

And add your file via the "Add" button. Tick the "Show more options" check box and then "Play another media file synchronously (extra audio file, ...)". Click "Browse", add the audio file, and press "Select" to add it. Pres "Play".

To select the audio track go to "Audio >> Audio Track" and select the track (should be the last track - if the video file only had one track it's probably "Track 2").

Arite.

Shouldn't adding an audio track be as easy as adding a subtitle track? Two options:
1. drag-and-drop;
2. Menu - Audio - Add Audio Track...

Yes, option 1 means VLC will need some kind of a "Add drag-and-dropped media as a new audio track if dropped on video" switch somewhere in Preferences but hey, am I the only person who feels the current way of adding external audios is a pain in the ass?

P.S.: if anyone knows how to efficiently pass this lamentation to VLC dev team, please reply.

Agreed. This should be done.
