This may be a bit offbeat but this program has been recommended for use as software for a document camera so I installed VLC media player. It does the trick however...when I am viewing a webcam, set as my capture device, the video is sort of blurry while the scene is changing. That is, the video on the screen does not follow my hand quickly if I move my hand under the camera. This is not a problem with the webcam, a Logictech 9000 PRO so it must be a setting in the VLC software (I hope). Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there an input frame rate or something like that I need to set?

Reduce caching.

Actually, I think I figured it out. If I am using a high resolution like 1600X1200 compared to a low resolution of say 320/240, the frame rate will be reduced by a large amount. herefore the image will appear blurred.
