Anyway To Start VLC In Minimal Interface View?

I would like to have VLC always startup in Minimal Interface view- but thus far have been unable to figure out how to do this. Does anyone know? Thanks!

add option --qt-start-minimized
If you type vlc -H, vlc will create a vlc-help.txt file with all command line options.
