Hi to all!
I'm running VLC 2.0.4 on Windows 7 64 bit, and I have problem with MPEG videos: in short, they'are all played this way:

I don't have the same issue for example on Windows XP.

Anyone can tell me what can it depend on?

Thanks in advance! :D

Update your video drivers.

Hi!
Sorry for the late reply. Now, I have time to try.
Well, actually, for example, with Windows Media Player I can play mpeg videos without any problem.
Are you sure it's not VLC problem? Why should update video card drivers?
By the way, I'm using now a netbook with AMD Radeon HD 6290.

Are you using the experimental x64 build of VLC ?
If so then try with the regular 32 bits build.

You can also try another video output module:

And/or disable/enable GPU acceleration:

And/or adjust FFmpeg threads:

You can also try to enable or disable some video options such as Overlay and/or Hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.

Damn! I disabled GPU acceleration and now the videos are played correctly!
Thanks so much! And have happy holidays! :D
