Logitech HD C620 Pro native H.264

Postby maitrepiet » 30 Nov 2012 20:07

Hi,
has anyone been able to play the native h.264 stream of the Logitech HD C620 Pro in vlc?
Using DirectShow, I only get the folowing out of it:
Codec: Planar 4:2:0 YUV (I420)
Resolution: 1203x1536
Framerate: 2

The specs says it has full 1080p at 20fps hardware encoded h.264, but I have no clue how to force the camera to output this.

VLC supports H.264-encoding webcams only on Linux currently.

Ah, I see.
are there plans to support it also for Windows?

I also have a linux machine, so what kind of command line should I use to make it work?
